I've been involved with the Boy's and Girl's Club near my grandparent's home on the West Side of St. Paul. They have lots of fun activities for the kids, but before the kids are allowed to play, they must spend the first 30 minutes reading.
The things I've done there have been things like painting the nails of the younger girls, helping them with art projecs, playing with them or reading to the younger children. One time when I was there, someone brought in LOTS of caged wild animals! There was a skunk, a raccoon, snakes, a porcupine - all kinds of little creatures. We got to pet a few of them.
In 2011, I organized and held a book drive at my school and donated several bags of books to the St. Paul Boy's and Girl's Club in 2011.
I've also volunteered for the Boy's and Girl's Club in Nashville, TN, where I sold rubber ducks for a duck race fundraiser they held and also helped at a golf tournament fundraiser in Nashville, Tennessee with my sister ANTSO Queens.
Additionally, I volunteered at the Boy's and Girl's Club in the Harlem area of New York. I painted the girl's nails, spoke to them about staying in school and working hard, and I played games with them.
